Ultra Dynamics, and predecessor company Ultra Hydraulics, have been supplying joystick controls for vessels under 75 feet since 1995. These Ultra-developed joystick systems are used to accurately control forward, reverse and neutral positioning of the boat using vectored thrust from the jet drive(s). The JetMaster Joystick controls are available for all UltraJet models. The control system provides excellent maneuverability in all directions including rotation around boat center and sideways movement for docking.

NEW JetMasterTM Joystick Control System

The JetMaster Joystick is a competitively priced full-featured waterjet propulsion control system based on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and proprietary software developed by Ultra Dynamics for waterjet propulsion. The system offers many features previously only available on more expensive systems.

Easy and logical to use, even inexperienced or infrequent boat users can maneuver the boat like a professional. One-hand close quarter maneuvering gives total control of your boat. Docking and backing into a slip is simple with same-sense steering, just push the joystick in the direction you wish the boat to move.

The JetMaster Joystick is compatible with Ultra’s jet-mounted and remote hydraulic systems.

Ultra’s joystick control is available for all UltraJet models.

The steering of twin-jets in monohulls is typically synchronized with a mechanical tie-bar. Optional electronically-synchronized steering is available for twin-jets in monohulls and for catamarans.
